Not sure if i really need a network driver inside the bottle.
Wasn´t able to install the driver ("computer not supported."-error).
Now since its working on my windows pc, why not just play it there? Well, im going completely over to Mac, and I want to be able to play some good games there as well. But im not using a long command line like that im just using Crossover. What can I do to fix this problem, and be able to login to my account? To check that this was not a server issue, I tested this on my windows pc I was able to login there just fine.Īnd I read on a Wine forum a user who got the same error, and that he was able to fix it by using the correct ip and port in some (long) command line. My problem: Error code "Cannot connect to authorization server", on a Mac running Crossover, which is running Aion (gameforge/europe version). :) Last part is just there if "Short summary" wasnt enough for you. Hello guys! Dont be alarmed by the length of this. Any Crossover user out there that are able to run and login to Aion Free-to-Play (gameforge, Europe version)? If so and if not, any tips or tricks to make this work? :D The rest came with something else i think). Do you think I need something extra to make it connect to the server? (i checked Mac internet settings and Bitdefenders settings.nothing there that could help, to my knowledge). There was enough space though, lots of it.īefore the details below, here (right below) are the applications that are currently installed in the bottle that im using to launch Aion. The launcher was unable to install the game, saying something like "not enough space". Launcher was installed, though this launcher was different than the one on my windows pc (which was up to date.to my knowledge).
exe from gameforge, and installing it through Crossover. I must also say that I first tried to install Aion by downloading the. I checked on my windows pc it works there. But as you see in the title, I cant login. I must also mention that after making the Aion-Free-To-Play bottle (by using the gameforge launcher), I moved all of the files (21gb) into the Program Files folder of the bottle that I was using. What I did was that I launched the Aion-Free-To-Play.exe, and in the command line I directed it to where the aion.bin file where (saw this on a post somewhere on the net). After some trial and error, and specifically after installing DirectX9 into the Aion-Free-To-Play bottle, I was able to launch Aion. Two folders here that are both needed Aion-Free-To-Play and NC launcher). So I copied Gameforge folder off of my windows pc (user/blablabla/Program Files (x86)/Gameforge. Thought Crossover would be able to run Aion if i had all the files. I figured I wanted to experiment a little.
